Hey musicians my name is Jason Hernandez and I am putting on a battle of the bands/singer-songwriter at Tonic so if you are a solo artist or a full band, all are welcome; the bar is located in San Antonio, TX at 5500 Babcock rd. - 9 week event starting on March 3 the event will take place every Monday with the winners from each of the first 8 weeks competing for the grand prize in the last week of the event, there is no entry fee and the grand prize is $500 cash, 2 bookings, one at Tonic and one at Soho Lounge on Thousand Oaks, and a trip for the band to either Vegas, Tahoe, or Reno plus some spending cash. Also I do believe we are getting a studio to donate time and an EP to the winner as well.

Just an FYI - Most of the claims Jason makes are false about prize, trips, studio time, etc. This is mainly about getting bands to play for free. Just from one who knows.
Then get something in writing.
